(Depart from Lyon)
We arrive in Tain-l'Hermitage at the discreet Hotel de la Villeon then on to a private experience of Chapoutier's cellars and wines. As the evening approaches, we head out for the first Provenance Session - River Cruise Edition on the Rhône for an aperitif cruise at sunset where we are guided through–exceptional glass by glass–the stories of Hermitage set against its iconic landscapes. The next day, Hermitage Hill becomes your viewpoint as we experience the landscape before a Relais & Chateaux lunch followed by an exclusive tasting at Guigal and a dinner on the riverbank.

Our travel takes us north along the Route des Grands Crus to an early afternoon exploring the city of Beaune and then on to one of the region’s most anticipated chic luxury properties—Château La Commaraine. That evening, you’re invited to a Provenance Session - The Maison Edition dinner at an exclusive intimate private property exploring bottles from an exceptional private Wine Library paired with a curated menu of seasonal regional cuisine. The next day is one to savour the hospitality of La Commaraine and the wines of Burgundy with vineyard-side tastings in Corton-Charlemagne and Vosne-Romanée.

Arriving in Champagne, Leclerc Briant welcomes us with a champagne-in-hand tasting exploring their ‘maison’ and a bistronomique champagne pairing lunch. The Royal Champagne Hotel and Spa will be a centrepiece of the two night stay where design, vines and spa converge against the iconic landscapes of the region. On our final full day, stories of Champagne unfold with a grower champagne house juxtaposed with some of the most iconic properties in the world; lunch at Domaine Les Crayeres and the final Provenance Session - the Crayères Edition with a wondrous champagne dinner set in Ruinart’s chalk cellars. The experience concludes the following morning with a departure toast that nods to the moments and landscapes of the past week.

Maison V was born from friendships forged over glasses poured across continents — wine, sake, shared tables, and the landscapes that shape them. Our lives and work have taken us deep into some of the world’s most storied regions, not as visitors passing through, but as insiders returning again and again.
The Maison V Travel Collection is where the passions that inspire us converge: wine and travel, expertise and exclusivity, France and Japan, the intimate and the extraordinary. Each journey we design is not simply about travelling to wine — wine is the invitation into expertly crafted moments, remarkable people, and landscapes rich with history and meaning.
Every itinerary is grounded in places we know personally. We curate experiences that move beyond the expected: private vineyards and cellars, design-led stays, expressive cuisine, local artisanship, and the moments of surprise and delight that happen between the highlights. These are journeys shaped by conversation, context, and access — designed and guided by the Maison V Founders alongside world-class wine and sake educators.
Defined by small, select groups, exceptional bottles, remarkable stays, and thoughtful pacing, The Travel Collection opens doors that are rarely unlocked and crafts experiences that linger long after the final toast.
We begin with the destinations closest to our hearts — and the lives we’ve lived within them: France and Japan — with inaugural multi-person experiences and bespoke travel planning that reflects the Maison V point of view.
Champagne is a region where landscape, tradition, and innovation intersect — and where some of the world’s most iconic wines carry centuries of story beneath the surface.
The Maison V Travel Collection offers privileged access to both celebrated houses and lesser-known grower producers, inviting you beyond the tasting room and into cellars, chalk crayeres, and private tables. Guided tastings unfold alongside conversations with the people behind the wines, revealing Champagne not just as a luxury product, but as a living culture.
Your experience is complemented by stays in exceptional design-led properties and landmark hotels, placing you within the region’s most memorable settings — where vines, architecture, gastronomy, and hospitality come together seamlessly.
In Bordeaux, heritage and scale meet precision and craft. Through The Maison V Travel Collection, you are invited into prestigious châteaux and contemporary estates alike, exploring historic vineyards, modern cellars, and the philosophies that define each house.
Tastings are thoughtfully curated to reveal vintage, terroir, and style, with insight into the people and decisions behind the labels. Between visits, you’ll stay in some of the region’s most elegant properties — châteaux and hotels that offer a sense of place, comfort, and immersion.
Bordeaux with Maison V is not about breadth, but depth — an invitation to understand the region through its stories, landscapes, and the lenses through which its wines are made.
Sake sits at the heart of Japanese culture — inseparable from history, ritual, craft, and hospitality. The Maison V Travel Collection opens doors into this world through journeys that extend far beyond the brewery.
Our Japan itineraries weave together rare access to sake producers — many typically closed to the public — with the broader cultural landscape that shapes the craft: ceramics, cuisine, architecture, farming traditions, and local artistry. Each journey is tailored to the experience you wish to have, balancing education with immersion and discovery.
Stays are integral to the experience, from extraordinary luxury ryokans to refined contemporary hotels, each chosen for their expression of Japanese hospitality, design, and sense of place. These journeys offer not just insight, but connection — to people, practices, and moments that define Japan.
With The Maison V Travel Collection, wine and sake are not endpoints — they are invitations. Invitations into landscapes, conversations, cultures, and experiences shaped by expertise, access, and intention.
