Terms & Conditions
Maison V Group LLC — Terms & Conditions
1. Business and services
Maison V is a travel design business operated by Maison V Group LLC, a limited liability company registered in Delaware, USA.
Maison V provides bespoke travel planning, itinerary design, accommodation recommendations and booking support as agreed with each client. Maison V is powered by Fora Travel. The role of Maison V, Fora Travel and any third-party supplier will depend on the service and booking arrangement. The relevant booking and payment responsibilities will be explained to the client once the proposed travel plan has been developed and before any booking is confirmed.
2. Planning fees and payment
Our published travel design fees start at $250 USD for Essential Trip Design, $500+ for Considered Journey Design and $750+ for Complex Journey Design. These are starting prices, and the final fee depends on the scope, duration, destinations and complexity of the requested service.
The applicable fee, deliverables, payment schedule and cancellation terms will be confirmed in writing before work begins. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the planning fee is payable in full before planning work commences.
Planning fees are separate from accommodation, transport, activities, dining, tickets, insurance and other travel purchases unless expressly stated otherwise. Any applicable taxes, processing fees or third-party charges will be disclosed where relevant.
3. Refunds and cancellation of planning services
Planning fees compensate Maison V for the agreed research, expertise, itinerary development and other planning work. Once work has begun, planning fees are generally non-refundable, subject to applicable law and any different terms expressly agreed in writing.
If a client cancels before work begins, any refund will be handled according to the cancellation terms provided in the accepted proposal and applicable law. Where a refund is due, any deduction must be lawful and disclosed in advance.
If Maison V is unable to deliver the agreed service, we will discuss an appropriate resolution with the client, which may include completing the work, rescheduling or providing a refund where appropriate under the agreement and applicable law.
4. Scope of work and revisions
The services provided will be described in the client’s written proposal.
Each travel design package includes up to three rounds of revisions to the proposed itinerary. A revision round consists of one consolidated set of client feedback and one corresponding revision by Maison V. Clients should consolidate feedback from all travellers into a single response wherever possible.
Additional revision rounds, substantial changes to the original brief or work outside the agreed scope may incur additional fees. Maison V will explain the proposed additional work and fee and obtain the client’s agreement before proceeding.
Changes to confirmed bookings may also be subject to supplier charges, cancellation policies, fare differences and availability.
5. Hotel-only bookings and minimums
Maison V accepts hotel-only enquiries without a minimum booking value, minimum stay or minimum number of bookings. A separate planning or concierge fee may apply where the requested service involves substantial research, multiple options, complex coordination or work beyond a straightforward hotel booking. Any such fee will be agreed in writing before the service begins.
6. Booking and payment responsibilities
Once a proposed travel plan has been developed, Maison V will confirm in writing which arrangements it will handle and which the client will arrange independently. The confirmation will identify, as applicable, the relevant booking channel, contracting party, payment recipient, payment deadlines and cancellation terms.
Clients must review and approve the details and costs of proposed arrangements before bookings are made. No travel arrangement should be considered confirmed until confirmation has been received from the relevant supplier or booking platform.
Where a client books independently, the client is responsible for confirming the booking, paying the supplier, reviewing the terms, managing changes and ensuring that the arrangements align with the wider itinerary.
7. Suppliers, hotel benefits and loyalty programmes
Third-party suppliers are responsible for providing their respective travel services under their applicable terms. Maison V will communicate relevant booking information and supplier conditions available to us.
Hotel upgrades, credits, breakfast, early check-in, late check-out and other benefits are subject to the relevant offer terms, availability and supplier policies and are not guaranteed unless expressly confirmed by the supplier.
Clients should disclose relevant loyalty memberships, points, status and credit-card benefits when enquiring. Eligibility for rewards or benefits depends on the applicable programme and booking conditions. Maison V cannot guarantee that benefits can be combined or that a particular booking will qualify.
8. Changes, cancellations and disruptions to travel
Changes and cancellations to confirmed travel arrangements are subject to the relevant supplier’s terms and may result in additional charges, fare differences or loss of payments. Maison V cannot guarantee that a supplier will permit a change or issue a refund.
Where itinerary changes require additional planning work, the revision and additional-fee provisions in the accepted proposal will apply.
If unforeseen circumstances affect travel arrangements, Maison V will make reasonable efforts to assist within the agreed scope. Additional work and third-party charges may apply. Any ongoing or emergency travel support will be provided only to the extent agreed for the relevant service.
9. Client responsibilities
Clients are responsible for providing accurate and timely information about travel dates, traveller details, budget, preferences and any relevant accessibility or dietary requirements.
Clients are responsible for ensuring that they hold valid travel documents and meet applicable entry, visa, health and transit requirements. We recommend appropriate travel insurance for cancellation, medical needs, interruption, delays, baggage and other relevant risks.
10. Complaints and service concerns
Maison V Group LLC aims to resolve concerns fairly, promptly and professionally.
Clients should submit complaints in writing using the Maison V contact details published on the website or included in their proposal. Please include the relevant trip or proposal reference, a description of the concern, supporting information and the outcome sought.
Maison V will aim to:
- Acknowledge receipt within two business days.
- Review the matter, gather relevant information and contact the client if clarification is needed.
- Provide a substantive written response, normally within ten business days of receipt.
- If further investigation is needed, explain the delay and provide an updated expected response date.
- Confirm the outcome, any agreed remedy and any follow-up actions in writing.
Complaints will be reviewed by the person responsible for the relevant service or, where practicable, by someone not directly involved in the matter. Maison V will keep a record of the complaint, investigation and outcome to help ensure consistent handling and improve its services.
Where the concern relates to a third-party supplier or a booking handled through Fora Travel, Maison V will explain the appropriate route for raising the matter and, where appropriate, assist with communication. Supplier complaints and booking disputes may also be subject to the relevant supplier’s or booking platform’s procedures.
This process does not limit any rights or remedies available to clients under applicable law.
11. Privacy
Maison V will use client information to respond to enquiries, plan travel, support bookings and deliver the agreed services. Information may be shared with Fora Travel, suppliers and service providers where reasonably necessary to fulfil those purposes and in accordance with applicable privacy requirements.
Further information about the collection, use, storage and protection of personal information will be provided in the Maison V Privacy Policy.
12. Applicable terms and legal rights
These terms should be read alongside the client’s accepted proposal, any service-specific agreement, booking confirmations and applicable supplier terms. If provisions conflict, the applicable written agreement and mandatory legal requirements will determine the parties’ rights and obligations.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits a right or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Any governing-law, dispute-resolution or limitation-of-liability provisions will be set out in the final agreement following appropriate legal review.
